Booklet Workshop

With Marcella Sohmen-Stöhr.

For children from 8 years and accompanying adults

What is art? What distinguishes art objects from everyday objects? And who actually decides what constitutes art?
Together we will delve into Marcel Duchamp's world and that of his works. We will examine enigmatic objects, coded paintings, miniature museums and much more. In the process, we will pursue precisely these questions. Then we will record our impressions and ideas that arise during our visit to the Marcel Duchamp exhibition in our own accompanying booklets. We will stamp, paint, write and much more.

The workshop lasts about 1.5 hours and participation is free. Please register at least two days in advance at kunstvermittlung.mmk@stadt-frankfurt.de or +49 69 212 40691 (Mon–Thu, 9am–2pm).
