ZOLLAMTMMK

Numerous public buildings were designed in the context of the extensive urban planning and design project Neues Frankfurt, including the customs office built in 1927 after plans by architect Werner Hebebrand. Comparable to the Bauhaus, Neues Frankfurt was one of the first comprehensive urban development and social projects of its kind. Numerous buildings in Frankfurt as well as products and graphic design elements are closely associated with it. After World War II, various renovations and conversions followed. The Altes Zollamt (Old Main Customs Office) located directly opposite the museum's main building has been a MUSEUMMMK für Moderne Kunst venue since 2007.

ZOLLAMTMMK FOYER
The Zollamt combines the urban architectural history of the 1920s with international contemporary art. The spacious foyer can be rented for various events. Guests have direct access to the exhibition throughout the event.

ZOLLAMTMMK EXHIBITION ROOMS
The entire Zollamt space is available for rentals and events only when no exhibitions are on view. The 500-sqm space can be altered for your event upon request.

The exhibition space in the new building considerably expanded the MMK’s spatial repertoire. The bookstore and the café Elaine’s Deli, affiliated with the museum, are open to visitors. The bright and spacious rooms in the centrally located TOWERMMK are also available for rentals. Special guided tours and catering by Elaine’s Deli can also be booked.
