Library

The library of the MUSEUMMMK für Moderne Kunst is open to visitors as well as scholars and art historians throughout the year and can be visited by appointment.

With approximately 53,000 volumes, including 30 current periodicals, the holdings encompass key publications on modern and contemporary art as well as related fields. We make it a point to collect publications on artists who are represented in the collection or have been featured in a MUSEUMMMK FÜR MODERNE KUNST exhibition. In addition to international and national exhibition catalogues, these include auction catalogues and monographs as well as artists’ books. Numerous reference books, encyclopaedias and manuals are also available.

You can find the library catalogue online at www.museumsbibliotheken.frankfurt.de

We look forward to welcoming you to the reference library.
Please note that, for the safety of all, admission to the library will be limited and all health regulations must be observed.
