Partners and Sponsors

From the start, the MUSEUMMMK was able to build on support from friends and patrons. For the museum, the dedication of private individuals is the foremost prerequisite for realizing an ambitious international programme. Private individuals, companies and foundations have all espoused the cause of a vibrant museum.
Exhibitions, the museum education programme and purchases for our outstanding collection are all possible only with your dedication. In return, you profit from a wide range of benefits.
If cultural patronage is a matter close to your heart, the MUSEUMMMK offers you a means of getting involved in the fundamental areas of the museum work and supporting them on a long-term basis:

1. The Collection

2. The Exhibitions

3. The TOWERMMK

4. The Museum Education Programme

The Collection

As a museum of contemporary art, the MMK presents contemporary artistic approaches and continually expands its holdings with works by the most important artists of our time. A unique collection has thus formed over the years: it presently encompasses some 5,000 works and is still growing. Both nationally and internationally, the MMK is considered one of the leading museums of contemporary art.
If you would like to support the expansion of the collection, you can become an MMK Partner or join the Collectors’ Club.

The Exhibitions

The MMK’s exhibitions set international standards. At three venues, the museum presents exhibitions and artistic approaches with a focus on current topics of relevance to society. Both nationally and internationally, its special exhibitions and solo presentations draw the enthusiastic attention of the general public, experts in the field and the press.
If you’d like to support our exhibition projects, you can become a Corporate or Project Partner.

The TOWERMMK

In 2014, the MMK added a new exhibition venue with 2,000 square metres of exhibition space to its facilities: the TOWERMMK. It was a unique private support initiative that made this expansion possible. The TOWERMMK is an outstanding example of the dedication of Frankfurt’s citizens and local business enterprises to cultural patronage.
The MMK is looking for further patrons to ensure the full financing of the TOWERMMK for the coming years.
If you would like to contribute to this cause, you can join the New Contemporaries.

The Museum Education Programme

Cultural education, art mediation and research constitute a fundamental aspect of the museum work. The MMK is conceived as a forum for exchange in the form of vibrant discussions about art and related topics of relevance to society. For every exhibition, the museum education department develops a framework programme geared to the needs and interests of persons of all age groups and walks of life. The aim is to provide access to contemporary art for one and all. To this end, the team puts together a widely variegated education programme with an entire spectrum of events, guided tours and workshops.
With your support in the area of museum education, a range programmes from guided tours to special events can be financed.
If you’d like to aid this area of our work, you can become a Corporate or Project Partner.
